Today we all received the news that our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI will leave the Papacy at the end of February. As a community of faithful, let us pray together for our beloved Pope that has served our Church so well. Let us also pray for the upcoming Conclave, that all those involved may live it in deep prayer so that they may really leave room for the Holy Spirit to elect the next successor to Peter. May God’s will be done.
Thank you Pope Benedict for your humility, your courage and your love of truth. You have been a true father to us all. May the Lord reward you for your “good and faithful” service to Him.
