Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We hope this letter finds you well. As another successful ESM year draws to an end, each of the schools is currently interviewing candidates for the 2015-2016 academic year. As you may know, the ESM is a beautiful opportunity for young people, between 18 and 30 years of age, to spend 9 months living an intense and fruitful spiritual and community life.
The school also focuses strongly on the intellectual and missionary formation of the students. The different pillars of the school form a program that is aimed to develop young missionaries who, in turn, can shape their own communities when they return home at the end of the year.
There are 4 schools around the world: Paray-le-Monial, Rome, Altötting and Manila each with their own particular focus and charism but all centered around deepening individual relationships with Christ and the Church. Each year all the schools are looking for around 20 young people to create a unique group of students from all over the world. We want to ask you to please think and pray about whether you know any potential candidates for any of the ESMs. If so, then please do encourage applications from those who would benefit from such an experience.
We entrust our mission and our past, present and future students to your prayers.
Fraternally,
Jean-Paul Merle (ESM Paray)
Fr Charles Rochas (ESM Rome)
Marcel Eckert (ESM Altötting)
Benoît Fouques Duparc (ESM Manila)
ESM Paray, France – French language; Heart of Jesus (and of Emmanuel community).
ESM Altötting, Germany – German language; Sanctuary of our Lady, mission through music.
