It is about to become a new tradition in New England. Our household of Boston gathered this year again in Winchester, MA to celebrate Thanksgiving Eve. And just like last year, Father Dominique de Lafforest coming from Larchmont, NY was among the attendees. This year we had also the joy to welcome Matt Mason, Director of Office of Vocations for the Diocese of Manchester, New Hampshire.
There is nothing more enjoyable than seeing our community in the greater Boston area growing. This year we welcomed a new family from France, Eleonore and Ghislain and their three kids. Eleonore is expecting and our sister Christina is expecting her first child too. So many reasons to be thankful for.
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy dwelling places of the Most High.

Soon we will have two households in Boston. Even if it is hard – and heartbreaking – to split our household and to see our united group apart, we all know it is a necessary step to be able to continue to grow and to invite more people to join. We also know we will see each other again at our monthly gatherings and that make these meetings even more important to us. We will continue to stay united in prayer and we will join to participate in our missions of evangelization. Another reason to give thanks to the Lord for putting us together to serve Him.
It is just a new chapter in the life of our community in Boston. As we received this image during a recent household, small streams are becoming large rivers. Praise be to God and please keep all our brothers sand sisters of the Emmanuel Community in Boston in your prayers!
