Emmanuel Day

September 21
December 21 (Subject to change due to Christmas.)
March 15
June 21

Please join us for our quarterly Emmanuel Day open to all on a Sunday afternoon at The John Paul II Training Center in Gainesville, GA. It consists of an afternoon of prayer, fellowship, and formation open to all. We begin with a potluck lunch during which we can share and meet new brothers and sisters in Christ. Lunch is followed by an opening session of praise, in which we praise the Lord in song for who he is and the good he has done for us. We will then have a time of teaching on a particular topic of faith to help us to grow in faith and love of our Lord and one another. The teaching will be followed by a time of small group sharing in order to think more deeply about how this topic relates to our own lives and how we can share it with others. Finally, we reach the culmination of our time together with an hour of adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, meeting God who is truly with us – Emmanuel – in the Real Presence. Don’t forget to bring a dish to share!

In addition to this, the local Emmanuel Community meets the second and fourth Thursday of the month for “household” and on the third Sunday of every month for Community Day. Household meetings are a time to come together to pray with our brothers and sisters and to share how God is working in our lives. Participation in a household requires a commitment of at least one year.
