Marriage: On a Mission from God
The Emmanuel Community-Twin Cities recently finished hosting a marriage mission at St. Stephen’s church in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The mission ran from October until June of this year, ending with a retreat on the weekend of Pentecost and praying for the outpouring of the Spirit for each of the couples. The mission meetings were held every other week with a great social time as well as teachings. The journey led the couples from Cana to Nazareth and then onto Jerusalem; a way of following and learning from the Holy Family. Fr. Joseph Williams and Fr. Andrew Brinkman, both local Emmanuel priests, led the mission with the help a few local Emmanuel couples. Please pray for the couples who faithfully came to our mission and pray for the future of this mission here in Minnesota!
