Jenica Thornby met the Emmanuel Community about nine years ago in the Twin Cities of Minnesota. She participated in a household for a time and then decided to attend the Emmanuel School of Mission in Rome from 2009-2010. She decided to pursue a religious vocation after the ESM and entered the Disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ in Texas in the fall of 2010.
