Today in Rome, the humble woman we know as Mother Teresa was canonized Saint Teresa of Calcutta. We give thanks for her life that gives us deeper insight into God’s love and mercy.
In July of 1986, she attended the gathering of families held at Paray-le-Monial as part of international sessions organized by the Emmanuel Community. Listen to the beautiful encounter between St. Teresa of Calcutta and Cardinal Lustiger.
What a strong memory for me as I was graced to be in Paray with my husband and our three children during Mother Teresa’s visit .
