Hubert and Estelle de Torcy, the new Delegates of the Emmanuel Community for North America, have just ended their second leg of touring in this zone. Their first stop was Quebec this summer.
This past week, they landed in Washington D.C. where they visited brothers and sisters, before driving to Pennsylvania (Philadelphia and Allentown) to visit more brothers. They also spent some time in New York City and Wetschester, NY, where they met the local community, including 3 Emmanuel Community priests.
While Newyorkers where getting ready for the New York Marathon, Hubert and Estelle had their own “triathlon”…
After experiencing “trick or treating” for the first time in their life, they celebrated All Saints Day in Manhattan and All Souls Day in Larchmont with a Community Day at St John and Paul’s church.
During that gathering, Estelle shared some news about the Community worldwide and Hubert gave us a teaching on evangelization. “It’s normal to be afraid” he said. He also recommended to prepare a personal testimony. It’s good to be ready to evangelize when an opportunity arises.
