Farewell, for now

7845415M

This is one of the views that the Lord has been unfolding before my eyes since I was born. These are the shores of the “Bay of Paradise” which is between the river Penze and the bay of Morlaix in Brittany, France!

I am flying back to my family, an ever growing community of about twenty homes along the beach (the sail boat in the sunset light is one of the wooden boats that my brother built.)

However, I shall not forget you all in the States and will keep you in my prayers at Mass and wherever I may go during the coming weeks. We all have many intentions to bring to the altar and we are so privileged to know that our Father unites us all in the glorious Presence of His beloved Son!

I shall come back to our dear parishioners on September 2nd. It will also be an exciting time of beginning a new fraternity with Fr. Thomas, Fr. Frank and our dog Lincoln. I hope you are all aware that we are already praying very intensely for the parish mission this winter.  I also beg your intercession for an Alpha Course that should take place in the parish in the Fall, God willing.

Fr. Dominique+
