The Emmanuel Community has one suggestion for its members: one daily Mass; one weekly adoration and group sharing; one monthly gathering, and one yearly retreat, if it is possible. The pace is easy, free and precise: daily, weekly, and yearly to grow in holiness and transform the normality of life into a real commitment to Christ.
The annual EC retreat aims at enriching faith and renewing the commitment to the community. This special year of jubilee, the EC East Coast will have their annual retreat during Pentecost weekend, May 13th -14th in Allentown, Pennsylvania. It will be a great opportunity for members to finally meet- some for the first time- and gather, pray and serve.
This Pentecost retreat will offer the grace to pray for the Holy Spirit to lead us to a new encounter with Christ. It is a little time away from the world in spiritual exercises to boost faith, strengthen the solidarity with brothers and sisters and descend into the depth of the molding presence of the Holy Spirit. The weekend will be punctuated by Mass and praise, children’s ministry (fun), worship, teaching, adoration and sharing. The retreat is for members and for people interested in Emmanuel Community.
