Last Sunday, the PA community gathered together for a social afternoon of friendship and faith. It was a time to reconnect after the long summer break, sharing memories, discussing the community calendar for the year and the possible missions for the months to come.
A beautiful scripture, Psalm 147, marked the time of praise and consecration:
How good to sing praise to our God; how pleasant to give fitting praise. The LORD rebuilds Jerusalem, and gathers the dispersed of Israel, Healing the brokenhearted
(Psalm, 147:1-2)
In spite of the rain, it was a fun gathering for the adults, with the young children noisy playing with blade blades and the older children watching Sunday football. We were blessed to conclude the afternoon in front of the Blessed Sacrament at Saint Anthony Parish Ambler and joined the local Parishioners for an evening BBQ! It was indeed “very good to sing praise to our God”!
