Pilgrimage to Most Blessed Sacrament Shrine

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Have you already heard about the Shrine of the Most Blessed Sacrament near Birmingham, Alabama?

If not, here’s a brief summary: In the mid-1990s, Mother Angelica traveled to Colombia to seek assistance for EWTN’s Spanish programs. She was invited to pray at the Sanctuary of the Divine Infant Jesus in Bogotá. It was here that the statue of baby Jesus became alive and talked to Mother Angelica. Jesus gave her a new mission: build a shrine honoring the True Presence of Our Lord in the Most Blessed Sacrament.

Without any promoting and without having to raise any funds, the Divine Providence provided five very generous families who offered to completely fund this ambitious project. As Mother Angelica said…

”Jesus ordered the Shrine, He built it and paid for it”

On March 9-10th, the Emmanuel Community of Georgia, is organizing a pilgrimage to the Shrine and inviting anybody who would like to take some time to rest on The Heart of Jesus to prepare themselves for Lent.

Please consider joining us to live an experience of fraternal Love, and Joyful Peace and please pray for this pilgrimage so that Jesus may touch many hearts. We will also be praying for you all.

  1. What a holy initiative to organize this and invite everyone to join you! I only wish that I could be everywhere at the same time. We will be united through prayer to Our Lord and Savior
