Jean Louis Pradère (May 10, 1925- June 7, 2014), and Mary Anne his wife were the parents of seven children. They both received the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in 1980 and soon after, that same year, joined the Emmanuel Community. This led to a great fire for renewed missionary zeal. Jean-Louis was was involved in international manufacturing which called for travels to Asia quite regularly. God used this in order to bring about the birth of the Community in Japan. In 1988 he retired and devoted himself, along with his wife, to mission throughout Asia. They continued to dedicate four months out of every year to the missions until he was 78 years old. Jean Louis joined our Heavenly Father hours before the Vigil of Pentecost.
